New Progress Report

8th Grade Religion: 1. Participates in liturgical celebrations 2. Uses appropriate resources to plan and participate in liturgical experiences 3. Explains the role of sacraments, symbols, and rituals 4. Demonstrates an understanding of liturgical feasts and seasons 5. Understands the different ministries and vocations of the Church 6. Identifies key historical movements in the church 7. List duties and obligations as Catholics 8. Applies faith through scripture journal 9. Identifies community building skills 10. Traces the impact of the Church on culture 11. Examine issues of sexuality which impact interpersonal relationships
1. Identifies various cultures and their contributions they make within the Church 2. Compares and contrasts American cultural values with Church values 3. Demonstrates understanding of Church's stand on moral issues 4. Shares gifts with others 5. Uses various prayer forms 6.Successfully completes 8 or more hours of service 7. Hail Holy Queen 8. New progress report will be in a checklist format. The first column is for first semester and the second column for second semester. Middle School masses on Thursdays at 2:15. No Thursday mass if there is an all school mass that week.
